A Place of Happiness & Love

We adopted Alfie, not from a shelter or breeder, but from the Vet. We were present with our old Border Collie when the current owners brought Alfie in to be euthanised for aggressive behaviour. We took him home with us and spent time getting to know him, training him a little at a time and gaining our trust. It was not easy journey and we had many set-backs, but slowly over time we saw the real Alfie emerge.

What a wonderful dog and what a joy to be around. We created a Facebook page, initially to allow his previous owners to keep up to date with his progress whilst not upsetting him further by visiting him. Now he has visitors from all over the world, we like to keep it light hearted but ultimately we want to spread the message of giving a dog with issues a chance wherever possible. We love to meet new people so feel free to stop by and say hello.

This photo was taken hours after we had taken him home, by our friend Jayne, and I think it shows us that, even the most aggressive of little dogs has a soft side.
